Homesharing
Homesharing is a matched arrangement between a “homeseeker” in need of low-cost housing with “householders” who can provide a private bedroom in exchange for rent or chore work at the home.

The program is open to persons over the age of 18 and eligibility is not restricted on the basis of race, religion, gender or income. A $20 registration fee and a match fee of between $10 and $75 (based on income) are requested from both parties.

Transportation Guide
The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority operates “The Metro” across the state line to help you discover all of the Greater Kansas City area. Coordinated services include Johnson County Transit’s “The JO” and Kansas City Kansas Unified Government’s “The Bus”. Schedules are available at the community college.
