Institutional Services
Institutional Services is dedicated to providing many and varied services which support the mission of Kansas City Kansas Community College and that impact the community. The Dean of Institutional Services serves as the Chief Planning Officer for the College as well as the Chief Information Officer. He also oversees the following departments.
Assessment
The mission of the Office of Assessment is to improve student learning by assisting in the development of appropriate assessment methodologies and success indicators, which can be used to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at KCKCC.
Center for Research and Community Development
The Center for Research and Community Development serves the College by collecting, storing, analyzing, interpreting, and disseminating data and other forms of information concerning the College and the community.
Grant Writing Services
The grant writer consults with administrators, faculty and staff to identify grant opportunities appropriate for advancing KCKCC's mission and programs.
The Intercultural Center
The ICC promotes multicultural understanding at KCKCC. It provides the College and the community with an enriched environment that celebrates cultural diversity through special events, speakers, and educational and training programs.
Library Services
The KCKCC Library serves students, staff, faculty and administrators of the college and Wyandotte County residents by providing access to a variety of services and resources that support and strengthen the instructional programs of the college and the higher educational needs of the community.
