Mission

Welcome to the Humanities and Fine Arts division. It is in this division that you will find courses in Art, English Composition and Literature, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Foreign Languages, Humanities, Journalism, Music, Reading, Speech, and Theatre. We curently have twenty-four exceptional full-time faculty and approximately one hundred outstanding adjunct faculty in our division. Each semester, there are a variety of classes taught by faculty committed to giving their students an environment in which to learn, grow, be challenged, and broaden your understanding of the world. These classes are offered both onground and online as well as during the day, evening, or weekends.

As a student, there are many opportunities for you beyond classes. Our division houses national award winning debate and forensics teams. We provide the opportunity for you to participate in choirs, in bands, and/or theatre productions. You also have the chance to have private lessons in piano, voice, or a variety of instruments.

Along with the AA and AS degrees, we also offer two Associate of Applied Science degrees. One is in Audio Engineering and the newest one is in Graphic Arts.

I encourage you to visit our division.
