Short BiographyHORT BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Lorraine Green has been an instructor of Biology since January 1974 here at KCKCC. This veteran teacher has taught Human Anatomy and Introducing Biology (Life and the Environment) for the Pace Curriculum. She holds both a B.S. and M.A. in Biology from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mrs. Green has previously taught Biology in High School and Life Science in Junior High School before coming to KCKCC.
Lorraine Green is married to Gary Green, retired counselor and Biofeedback and Holistic Health instructor at KCKCC. Mrs. Green enjoys searching for the latest medical research over the Internet and going to movies.
Mrs. Green enjoys teaching with a casual style that includes lecture with a lot of group work using laboratory activities. She feels students can not only learn from her but just as importantly they can learn from each other.
