Hazardous Materials
Professor/Coordinator of Fire Science/Hazardous Materials: Michael Wilson
This program provides students with the skills necessary to deal with routine
operations involving hazardous materials in an industrial setting. In addition,
the program introduces those items which are required for emergency response
and compliance. Upon completion of this program, individuals not only obtain
an associate degree, but they meet the state of Kansas and federal requirements
under 29 CFR 1910.120, 40 CFR 311, and Chapter 65 Article 57 Kansas Statutes
